The concert will also include compositions for piano by Vladimir Blok who was responsible for completing Prokofiev’s cello sonata which was left unfinished when the composer died.
Riccardo Pes was born in 1987 in Spilimbergo, Italy. He graduated with outstanding from the Royal College of Music, London, on the Artist Diploma course under the tuition of professor Melissa Phelps. He was an RCM Scholar, supported by the Soiree d'Or Award, Pauline Hartley Award and the Kathleen Trust. He has been also recipient of the Prokofiev Trust Award.
Matteo Andri graduated in piano with full marks, honors and special mention under the guidance of prof. Maria Grazia Cabai and graduated in composition with 110/110 in the class of prof. Renato Miani and Mario Pagotto at the J. Tomadini Conservatory in Udine. He attende masterclasses held by Paul Badura-Skoda, Daniel Rivera, Bruno Canino, Boris Petrushansky, Riccardo Risaliti.
